Price Ranges:

Prices range widely depending on the Trailer size (14ft to 24ft length), the complexity of design and the cost of customer’s chosen appliance list. Most NMK custom-designed Food Trailers fall within a range of $35,000 to $75,000 for complete turnkey mobile kitchens.

Food trailers are also available in lengths of 18′, 20′, and 24′.

In our 10 years of operation, Northwest Mobile Kitchens (NMK) has built a vast portfolio of custom mobile kitchens, marketing and business vehicles from our Portland, Oregon shop.

We’ve proudly served customers throughout the western states, from California to Alaska and beyond, and our portfolio includes projects for Whole Foods, Bon Appetit Management Company, the Snohomish, WA School District, the City of Missoula, MT, Sunriver Resort, and the Washington State Lottery. Our electrical, plumbing, propane and fire suppression technicians are all licensed contractors, making it easier to comply with a broad geography of building code and safety standards.

NMK Food Truck Projects

Snohomish, Washington School District – “Kids Café” Catering Truck, Snohomish, WA

  

Contracted through Chartwells Dining Services (Compass USA-owned), NMK re-built a pre-owned NMK Food Truck to suit the School District’s special mobile kitchen needs. This Food Truck helped the District supplement their overloaded cafeteria system by providing extra serving capacity during short student lunch breaks.

“In 2016, as the on-site director with Chartwell Dining Services, I contacted Rich Zeidman of NW Mobile Kitchens in Portland, Oregon and began a dialogue about our needs. Within a short time, Rich contacted me with a lead on a used food truck that could be modified to meet the needs of the district.

Working with Rich and his team, they were able to make the necessary modifications, and the result was a superior truck that came in below our budget. I would definitely recommend NW Mobile Kitchens for their professional work and sensitivity to special requirements. This truck has allowed the food service department to take its summer eating program to remote parts of the district where kids would not otherwise have access to meals.”

Bon Appetit Management Company – Catering Truck at Intel Campus, Hillsboro, OR

    

Bon Appetit Management Company (Compass USA-owned) is an on-site restaurant company offering food service management to organizations in 32 states. Bon Appetit hired NMK to design and build a full service Catering Truck for street vending and catering in Seattle, and for several years on the Intel Campus in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Clif Family Winery – Bruschetteria Food Truck, St. Helena, CA

   

The Clif Bar Company of Emeryville, California also owns the Clif Family Winery in California’s Napa Valley. This NMK-built Catering Truck serves fine Italian bruschetta to visitors of the winery’s on-site tasting room.

Beauty Truck, Portland, OR

    

NMK designed and outfitted this full service salon on wheels, which offers high end beauty services that it can bring directly to weddings, parties, film and TV productions, and corporate events.

Whole Foods Market “My Street Grocery,” Portland Metropolitan Area

 

Whole Foods hired NMK to design and build their “My Street Grocery” vehicle, a mobile grocery store that sells fresh produce and natural foods in neighborhoods with insufficient access to healthy food.

NMK Coffee Vehicle Projects

STOKED ROASTERS – Coffee Sprinter Van, United States

    

NMK designed and built this amazing mobile coffee/espresso van for Hood River, Oregon-based STOKED ROASTERS. Targeting their brand to endurance athletes, this Mercedes Sprinter now travels across diverse climate zones – from mountain top ski slopes to desert marathon races, nationwide.

FSTOP Cafe Coffee Trailer, Bainbridge Island, WA

    NMK converted this vintage 1950 Boles Aero trailer into a classic mobile coffee vending cart for FSTOP Café. It’s now a regular presence at area Farmer Markets and community events on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
